Ever since I played Stellaluna the bat in my second grade class’s Christmas one-act musical The Scarecrow’s Christmas (I had a song that pretty much brought down the house. It was about the Winter Solstice. Stop asking!), I’ve been fascinated with those little guys.
Story time: When I was thinking about buying a house, I only seriously considered places that would be good for me to put up bat boxes. Judge me if you need to.
